A white Bordeaux at 39 years old? Yes, the 1978 Chateau Canteloup listed as 11% to 14% (12.2%) alcohol, costing $5 then, scoring 15+ points, made this an interesting old white.

It had wet stone notes over some candied fruit. Very interesting.

This Bordeaux was served with simple chicken and veggies. It kept changing for over 45 minutes and never went bad. In Vino Veritas.
