The 2014 Nodus Rosado is 12% alcohol {perfect} cost under $12, and scored 16 points on the Dionysian scale of 20.

This Rose is is made with  Bobal, a Spanish grape that can be made like Beaujolais, or even better, into a classic dry  Rose style.

The Bobal grape is grown in and around Valencia, Spain. It’s an excellent spring, summer and autumn opening wine. It works with shrimp too.

The wine reflects cherries,  pink flowers, plumb, and it’s dry enough to pair with all fish, salads and cheeses.

Green and yellow string beans fresh from my garden, tomato and cucumber salad and salmon matched perfectly with the Nodus Rose.

This wine is made by Bodegas de Utiel, the same people who made a delightful Cava called Nodus. I buy this Rose by the case and it’s quickly gone. In vino veritas.
