The 2015 Estate Argyros “Atlantis “,is 13.5% alcohol, cost under $15, and scored a fine 15+ points on the Dionysian scale of a possible 20. This Greek wine is refreshing, pairs nicely with fish, and is made with classic Greek white grapes.

White wines should be 13% and lower for easy drinking, but Greece is hot and as nice as the wine was, the alcohol distracted  from the its quality.

Served with flounder, the wine worked well. I like a lot of the Greek white wines.

The name of this wine caught my eye as I toured a number of the Greek islands. Look to out of the way places to find excellent wines that will marry with meals.  Meet some Dionysian members and drink with them. Try to attend their annual March Gathering.  In Vino Veritas.
