At 13% alcohol, this delightful 2015 Vega Sindoa Garnacha Rose’ scored 15 points on the Dionysian 20-point scale. Garnacha (grenache in France) is, I think, the best grape for Rose’ wines. It cost under $12.

Best drunk from their release up to four years old, I sometimes age them a bit longer and that helps with more meals. This still had strawberry, subtle raspberry and some cherry.

I enjoy lots of Rose’ wines from May to September, but also add them to multi-course dinners throughout the year.

The Rioja regions makes many high quality Rose’ wines, but this one come from the Navarra region that also make top Rose’. Note: Rose’ is dry pink wine while Blushes are sweeter pink drinks for the pool side. In Vino Veritas.
