The 13% alcohol Banfi San Angelo Pinot Grigio, when drunk on release is ideal with fish, and with a few years of aging, it makes the perfect hors d’oeuvres wine. It scored 15 points on the Dionysian 20-Point scale which is excellent.

The wine has citrus-lemon notes and it finished with  clean mineral aspects proving it to be a good food-wine.

The wine comes from Tuscany and will pair with pasta, white meats and seafood. I personally drink very little Pinot Grigio, because too many producers over-crop producing thin watery examples of this grape, but when I do drink it, it’s usually this Banfi classic. In vino veritas.
