The Multi-Vintage Champagne Vilmart & Cie Grand Cellier Brut Premier Cru at 12.5% alcohol scored 18+ points on the 20-point Dionysian scale. It comes from Rilly la Montagne and is an “RM” production, meaning they grow it themselves.

Its creamy toast and fresh baked bread made it the perfect wine to toast to a special day, July 1, the start of the second half of the year! It’s a Terry Theise Selection and is imported by Michael Skurnik Wine of New York.

Costing about $75, it’s worth it for special times with special people. I served it for my children.  In vino veritas.
