The Geranrd Bertran Cremant de Limoux Brut Thomas Jefferson Cuvee has 12.5% alcohol, cost under $19, scored 16+ Dionysian points, and is an easy drinking sparkling wine from Limoux, France.

Thomas Jefferson was Limoux’s greatest admirer. The sparkling wine is ideal for receptions or first courses of a multi-course meal.
The wine is 70% Chardonnay, 15% Chenin Blanc. 10% Mauzac (a grape many people don’t know as it is grown in the south of France) and 5% Pinot Noir.
It is balanced, with apple, sweet pear, and some peach-pit aroma which all provide an elegance to this inexpensive, easy-drinking sparkling wine. Sparkling wines, including Champagne, add excitement to life. Have and share them more often. In Vino Veritas.
