With 14% alcohol, the still fresh 13 year old Ribera del Duero Spanish wine, scored 17 points on the Dionysian scale of 20. The 2007 Paramo de Corcos cost under $20 and for a wine aged 5 months in oak, it showed the terroir of the Ribera del Duero. This was worth the wait !

We served this with a white sauce pasta dish and finished it with a cheese course. The wine was at peak but could hold another eight to ten years easily. This is from Spain best wine area and it dominate grape is Tempranillo. Seek out some of these for now or to age. In Vino Veritas.
