At 10 years old, the 2007 Pouilly-Fuisse from Leonard de Saint-Aubin scored 18 Dionysian points on a scale of 20. It  had 13% alcohol and cost under $20 when new. The wine was right at its peak!

POUILLY-FUISSE IS A GREAT FOOD WHITE. IT WILL PAIR WITH NEARLY EVERYTHING, EVEN DARK TURKEY AND PORK. NEVER DRINK THEM ON RELEASE. AGE THEM A BIT.

A wine like this with mineral and apple aromas and flavors enhances most food extremely well. It has a very long aftertaste.

With a simple Spanish Olive oil pasta and spinach, the food becomes the enhancer for the wine.

Enjoy great wines with basic foods and feature what you’re drinking. In Vino Veritas.
