With 12.7% alcohol, costing under $15 and scoring 16+ points on the Dionysians scale of 20,  the 2015 Dr. Konstantin Frank Rkatsitelli is an outstanding wine from New York’s Finger Lakes.

Rkatsiteli is native to the Republic of Gerogia and dates back for over 5,000 years. Great with Asian food.

Grown on the slopes of  glacial lakes, the wine has citrus fruit and spicy herb aromas and is balanced with ideal acidity to use as a food wine.

Paired with crab cake, peas and fresh asparagus, the wine worked well even with asparagus on the dish.

Frank wines are among the very best from the Finger Lakes region. This grape also makes a unique sparkling wine. In vino veritas.
