The 2016 Narboursville Vineyards Fiano Reserve from Virginia scored 17+ poijnts onthe Dionysian Scale of a possible 20. This great Italian grape has more fruit and flavor in Virginia. It has 12.5% alcohol and cost near $20.

The wine is clean, balanced and idea for white meats, fish and veggie dishes. It’s good aftertaste refreshes the mouth for your next forkful of food. It’s at peak from release to five more years. Fiano is a great summer wine.

Served with a white fish dinner. A+

Thomas Jefferson was assisted by anItalian winemaker when he set up his Virginia Vineyards. Barboursville makes the best example of this grape in the entire United States. I’ll be showing this wine at the American Wine Society’s Atlantic City Conference in November of 2021at The Rat Pack Session. In Vino Veritas.
