The 2016 Two Angles Red hills Lake County Petite Sirah has 14,3% alcohol, good for a Petite Sirah, scored 17 points on the Dionysian scale and cost under $30.
The Winery is in Oakville, in Nape County, but the grapes were grown in Lake County just above Napa. It was only three years old, and needed another five to show its best.
Expect to see more wines made entirely of or mostly with Petite Sirah. In Vino Veritas.
