Scoring 15+ Dionysian points, with 14% alcohol (hidden with blue ink printed on black), the 2017 Damilano Marghe Langhe Nebbiolo had rose pedal and light red fruits on the nose. It cost under $20 and will age a decade at least to develop into a bolder complex red wine.

While still young, this Nebbiolo brought out the meatball flavors nicely. I plan to age some and review it again.

The wine is balanced with a long clean aftertaste making it an excellent food wine. In Vino Veritas.
