The 2101 Massaya Cinsault is from Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. It had 14.5% alcohol ( what do you expect from a desert) cost around $15 wad scored 16+ Dionysian points on a scale of 20.
It’s made with 60% Cinsault, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah. It’s filled with cedar! WOW, a mouth-filling red that marries with food. Bright red fruits with cedar and vanilla round out the wine. We put it up with crabs and pasta and it worked. It paired well with grilled meats and with every vegetable we could. It was a great food wine.
