With an ideal 12.3% alcohol, the 2013 Cameron Hughes Lot 489 Triage scored 17 points on the Dionysian scale of a possible 20. It is refreshing, clean, balanced and its green apple nose highlights foods.

Only 334 cases were made. The stone fruit aromas and the balanced acid makes it a delightful dinner wine.
The blend has four, not three grapes: Riesling, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are blended in that decreasing order by volume. The wine is another example of how European the wines form Columbia Valley in Washington State can be. Costing just under $15 makes it a case-buy. “Cameron is the name of the newest Mahoney born into the family, so we’ll be sharing this wine often.” In vino veritas.
