Scoring 18 points on the 20-point Dionysian scale, the 2010 Attilio Ghisolfi Barolo Bricco Visette cost under $30 and had 14.5% alcohol.
From a fine vintage, the ruby red wine showed a slight orange edge. It was filled with rose pedal and hot road tar. It continued to open for well over an hour.
The wine was balanced and had a long aftertaste. It could have aged another ten years. I enjoy Barolo both young and well aged, The 1978’s were the best for me, both younger and at 30 years old. In Vino Veritas.
