Costing $45, with 12% alcohol and scoring 17+ Dionysian Points out of a possible 20 Dionysian Scale, the multi vintage Champagne Henriot Brut Souverain was a pleasure to drink.
Tiny bubbles and a charming French loaf aroma filled your nose. There was a hint of citrus on the aftertaste. Very nice. The wine comes from Reims in Champagne and the house has been producing charming wines since 1808. Seek them out. All three classic Champagne grapes are used. In Vino Veritas.
