the 2017 Ferry Lacombe Haedus Rose’ from Cotes de Provence has 13% alcohol, cost under $15, and scored 16+ points on the Dionysian scale of a possible 20.

Quality Rose’ is ready to drink when you buy it, but can age nicely for five years. This one is perfect.

Ripe Grenache showing strawberry notes with good refreshing acids. A perfect “hot day” dinner wine.

Deep colored Rose’ wines are no longer desired since the Rise’ from Provence show the world how to make super refreshing light wines for sipping and to pair with warm-weather dishes: meats or fish.  Even the Rhone’s Tavel Rose’ is getting light in color as it should. In Vino Veritas.
