With 12% alcohol, costing under $12, the 2019 Pedra Cancela Tourgia Nacional Rose’ from Portugal scored a nice 16 points on the Dionysian scale of a possible 20. It’s more pinkish than the photo shows.

With an orange peal aroma on its nose, the dry wine was excellent for foods of all sorts. This wine is a “Must Buy” steal. It is holding well and would be a two, even three year Rose’.

It has more body than the usual French Provence Rose’ I like the best. This one is a steal and good with meals.

I’ll re-order next spring when the 2020’s come out. Take to a New Jersey BYOB and serve all the tables around me. In Vino Veritas.
